1540 nm Fractional Erbium Glass Laser:
The non-ablative fractional laser beams are delivered as multiple columns in dermis and primarily targeted to dermal water which will induce collagen heating and dermal remodelling with no ablative effect on epidermal layer. This gentle resurfacing procedure allows faster recovery and lower post procedure side effects compared to ablative lasers. It delivers wider area of protein denaturation and volumetric heating that cause effective improvement. It can be done for all the indications as mentioned for MNRF along with active acne.
Therefore along with MNRF, this combined novel fractional resurfacing technique deliver an amplified synergy that results in a much greater skin remodelling with very minimal downtime and Side effects.

FRACTIONAL Co2 laser:
A fractionated method (columns of skin are removed leaving the skin surrounding each column intact to aid in healing) helps reduce “age-spots” (also called sun freckles, liver spots, and lentigines), fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, uneven coloration, skin laxity, textural irregularities, dull tone, and a thinned collagen layer of the face, neck, and chest.
Fractional Carbon dioxide laser is an in-office procedure that requires pre and post-treatment medications to ensure proper healing and comfort during the procedure. Discomfort varies on the depth of the treatment. For your comfort during the treatment, we may apply a topical anesthetic cream. After the treatment most patients describe the post-procedure feeling as a sunburn for about 12 hours to 3 days. Please also follow the instructions carefully as advised.
In an area that cannot be treated aggressively, we may need to do few treatment sessions to optimize results. Maintenance treatments may also be necessary to maintain results, especially if sun is not avoided or proper skin care is not followed.
Results that are expected are a very significant and noticeable reduction in the components of sun-damaged skin such as “age-spots” (also called sun freckles, liver spots, and lentigines), fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, uneven coloration, skin laxity, textural irregularities, dull tone, and a thinned collagen layer. The skin will continue to improve for a period of 6 months following the procedure provided proper skincare is used and sun exposure is minimized. Sometimes the results are not significant until the 6th and even the 9th month, depending on the person’s age, their aftercare routine and their history of smoking.
The main negative of the fractional CO2 is the downtime. Depending on the area and the aggressiveness of the treatment, it will take7-10 days for the skin to heal. This downtime will include significant redness crusting (possibly minor bleeding and oozing depending on treatment depth), dryness, and peeling and flaking (it is important to keep the skin moist after treatment). This does mean that social and work activities will have to be curtailed during this time, although you should be perfectly capable of working from home after the first day or two. Other potential side effects may include but are not limited to: skin wound, infection, scarring, and hypo and hyper-pigmentation especially if after care is not followed well.
Prior to the treatment all expectations, potential risks and side effects will be discussed
Post- Procedure Symptoms
- 1st-2nd day - redness and swelling is noticed
- 3rd-5th day - bronzing of the skin and peeling is expected
- 6th day - smooth, clear skin appears
- Apply an antibiotic ointment twice a day for 5 days after the treatment
- Do not apply any cosmetics for at least 7 days after the treatment
